Terms of Service

Welcome to Leapo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Leapo website, web application, and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]( "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who can use Leapo

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) and legally able to enter into a contract. You agree to give us accurate information when you sign up and to keep it up to date in your account settings.

You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your password secure and don't share it. Tell us right away at [support@leapo.app] if you suspect unauthorized use.

2. What Leapo does

Leapo is a step-by-step guide and AI coach that helps service solopreneurs (personal trainers, yoga instructors, massage therapists, cleaning services, and similar) turn a business idea into their first paying clients. The Service includes phase-based task checklists, templates, an AI-powered coach, progress tracking, and related features.

Leapo is an educational and organizational tool. It is not legal, tax, accounting, medical, or financial advice. Any suggestions — especially around business registration, insurance, contracts, or pricing — are general starting points. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions that carry legal or financial consequences in your jurisdiction.

3. Accounts, Free and Pro plans

Leapo offers two tiers:

  • Free — free forever, limited to phases 1–3 of the roadmap and a basic AI coach quota.
  • Pro — a one-time payment (currently €29 / $29) that unlocks all 9 phases, premium templates, the full AI coach, and future Pro-tier features.

Pricing and feature sets may change. If we change prices, the new price applies only to new purchases; existing Pro accounts keep what they already paid for.

4. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store your full card details — only metadata Stripe returns to us (a customer ID, session ID, and the fact that a payment succeeded). By paying, you also accept Stripe's terms.

30-day money-back guarantee.If you're not happy with Pro for any reason, email [support@leapo.app] within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund the full amount. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Outside the 30-day window, Pro is a one-time payment and refunds are at our discretion.

5. Your content and data

You own everything you put into Leapo — task responses, business plans, chat messages with the AI coach, uploaded niche details. We don't claim ownership of it.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process that content solely to provide the Service to you (including sending relevant parts to our AI provider to generate coach responses — see the Privacy Policy for specifics).

You're responsible for making sure your content doesn't infringe anyone else's rights and doesn't contain illegal material.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Resell, redistribute, or scrape Leapo's content, templates, or UI
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to bypass rate limits, tier gating, or other access controls
  • Use the AI coach to generate illegal, harassing, or rights-infringing content
  • Create accounts using automation or impersonate other people
  • Interfere with the Service's infrastructure, attack other users, or transmit malware

If you break these rules we may suspend or terminate your account.

7. Our content and intellectual property

The Leapo brand, logo, phase roadmap, task taxonomy, written content, templates, and the code that runs the Service are owned by us or our licensors. Using the Service gives you the right to use them for your own business only — it doesn't transfer ownership.

8. Third-party services

Leapo relies on third parties to work: Supabase (database and auth), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI coach responses), Vercel (hosting), and your email provider (password resets, receipts). Their terms and privacy practices apply alongside ours. We're not responsible for outages or data practices outside our control, though we pick providers with strong security records.

9. AI-generated content disclaimer

The AI coach produces responses using large language models. These responses are probabilistic and can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated — especially around legal, regulatory, tax, and pricing topics that vary by country. Use your judgment, cross-check important claims, and consult qualified professionals for decisions with real consequences.

We log AI interactions to improve the Service and enforce usage quotas. Specifics are in the Privacy Policy.

10. Cancellation and termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings or by emailing [support@leapo.app]. Deleting your account removes your personal data on the timelines in our Privacy Policy; anonymized aggregate data may be retained for analytics.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (see §6) or create a legal or security risk, with notice when reasonable. If we terminate without cause, we'll refund any unused Pro portion pro-rata where applicable.

11. No warranty

Leapo is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer law (including, for EU consumers, rights under the Consumer Sales Directive and GDPR).

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and (b) €100.

We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, even if we've been told such damages are possible.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. For material changes, we'll notify you by email and/or in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and contact us for a refund of any unused Pro access.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [BELGIUM], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For EU consumers, nothing in this section limits your rights to bring a dispute in the courts of your country of residence.
